Pirates Pitcher Steve Blass has personally hand-signed this MLB Baseball and inscribed it 1971 WS Champs-Blass made his MLB debut in 1968 but joined the Pirates permantley in 1966. Blass won 18 games with a 2.12 ERA with seven shutouts and both career highs in 1968. From 1969-1972 he won 60 games and in 1972 he had a career high 19 victories which led him to be a National League All- Star. Blass contributed to the 1971 World Series against the Baltimore Orioles he pitched two complete games in which he only allowed seven hits and two r in 18 innings and he was also the winning pitcher in the deciding game 7.
