Description:
Blend No. 72
China White Peony Tea, Osmanthus Flower and Petals of Chamomile

These delicate, shade-dried leaves from Chinas Fujian Province are naturally high in antioxidants. Egyptian chamomile petals and Chinese osmanthus flowers add a fragrant, toasty, creamy and slightly sweet bloom of flavor.

This small batch of tea was personally crafted for you by Steven Smith, teamaker. Bai Mu Dan, or White Peony tea, originates from China and offers a lovely introduction to the sweet and subtle taste of white tea. We add Chinese osmanthus - most commonly used in fragrances - and white petals of Egyptian chamomile flowers for an uncommonly soft and fragrant bouquet. A tea with the characteristics of a well made pinot blanc.

Inside the Smith Sachet
The shape is not unusual, but the artistry inside is unique. Our roomy, relaxed fit sachet encourages greater expansion to give you better flavor. Its also biodegradable. After steeping, you can sashay straight to the compost heap.
