Bucky Dent is a 2-Time World Series Champion infielder largely in part to his heroics in 1978. On October 2 1978 the Red Sox and Yankees squared off in a winner-take-all one-game playoff at Fenway Park the winner would head to the World Series. The Yankees had come from 8 games back in the standings to force the dramatic matchup. In the seventh inning up 2-0 Red Sox Pitcher Mike Torrez surrendered a 3-run HR to light-hitting Dent. The Yankees won the game 5-4 and were en route to their second consecutive title. The home run was a defining point for Dent who was also named World Series MVP that season. Bucky Dent has hand signed this MLB Baseball and has added the inscription Curse Of The Bambino. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is ncluded.
