Description:
Yankees' great Bernie Williams has personally hand-signed this Game Model Rawlings Big Stick Bat and inscribed "Burn Baby Burn". Bernie bled Yankees blue and white. A Yankees player his entire career and a fixture in center field, Williams' name is routinely mentioned by fans and Major League Baseball record keepers in the same breath as Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Phil Rizzuto, Reggie Jackson, Yogi Berra, and Derek Jeter. Williams, a classy and unassuming man off the field, counts among his on-field achievements a .298 lifetime batting average, 2,218 hits, four Gold Glove Awards, five All-Star Game appearances and four World Series Championships, not to mention an MVP Award for his heroics in the 1996 ALCS and a 1998 AL batting title (which he won with a .339 batting average) this same year Williams won a Gold Glove Award and a World Series ring making him the only player to achieve such feat.
