Manitoba Harvest Certified Organic Shelled Hemp Seeds, also known as Hemp Hearts, are made by removing the hard outer shell of the hemp seed and packaging the most nutritious part of the seed, the inner kernel.
Shelled Hemp Seeds are a delicious and rich source of Omgea-3 and Omega-6 Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) and GLA and SDA Super Fatty Acids. Shelled hemp seeds also provide and abundance of Essential Amino Acids (Protein) with 11 g per serving. Sprinkle them on salad, cereal, yogurt or use in your favorite cooking or baking recipe. They have a light nutty flavor similar to sunflower seeds. Keep the temperature below 350 F (176 C) so you do not damage the precious Omegas.
To ensure quality, Manitoba Harvest packages all products in light impermeable and inert gas flushed packaging. This protects the Omegas from light and oxygen which will cause rancidity. This bag is also reusable.
